Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)’s sustainable standards’ certifications-

1. FSC Chain of Custody (CoC)
   • It is one of the most coveted certificates/standards of FSC sustainable standards related to supply chain. Even small scale businesses can have this certification and achieve their aspirations by working with global players.
2. FSC Controlled Wood (C.W.)
   • Implemented by FSC in 2006, it is most suitable certification/standard for timber or wood industry businesses that directly procure material from FSC certified areas and supply further to FSC certified buyers.
   • Note- FSC Controlled Wood is not considered to be FSC –certified product and it does not hold any FSC label also. It is also not applicable for finished products which are ready to buy by end consumers.
3. FSC Forest Management (F.M.)
   • It is highly recognigable standard of FSC as it was introduced initially and has a label of FSC 100% which can be apply on finished market ready product.
   • Businesses that do trading of wood from forest areas can get their sourcing areas certified with FSC FM standard and supply their material further to a FSC certified buyer.
